Here are some pictures from the night Julia pulled herself up to standing for the first time. My family was in attendance, which may have been why she chose this night to unveil her new skill.
As you can see, Julia is quite pleased with herself. Her legs were a bit shakey at first, but now she does it flawlessly.
After pulling herself up a few times, she took a moment to reflect on her new talent. Here she is, gazing at the horizon, pondering what this might mean for her.
Her future is bright. As for mine, well, I see a lot of chasing her, scraped knees, stair climbing, and trail of destroyed household items.

You know what's crazy? I just did a blog post that is very similar, because Max pulled up to stand for the first time just last night. We didn't get the full-body shots, though. We were too afraid he would fall over! Julia and Max must have a profound connection, to be coordinating their goals in this manner.
Wow, that's just great. Our children are scheming - in collusion, and they aren't even teenagers yet!
Yeah, I wonder what phase two of their evil plot might be.
These kids today...
I don't appreciate this newfound ability of Julia's. I was never so scared in my life as the time when I was resting peacefully on my chair, when suddenly this creature, who up until a few months wasn't even mobile, appeared before me and was able to pull my tail!
Princess, you spell so well for a cat ...
